Nelson Bench
Take a Seat — This platform bench with metal legs – or, alternatively, a finger-jointed wood base – remains as relevant today as it was in 1946, when George Nelson designed it. Nelson created its slatted top to discourage folks from sitting too long, but that touch also reduces the piece’s visual bulk.
